Transitioning Energy and Mindsets... Can Start with a Form

There is enough calamitous news on any given day to start building a bunker or plan a Thelma and Louise adventure. On the climate change front there is the summary of the globally reported sixth Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) assessment or the lesser-known Yale Journal of Industrial Ecology report vindicating the 1972 MIT prediction of “society as we know it” pending collapse to feed one’s despair. On the other hand, there are mindsets that include “doing something about it”, “pitching in”, “pivoting” and “turning the tide” that represent an alternative feature of human nature. It is the latter premise that provides the context for the formation of the Resilient Energy Infrastructure Consortium at Greentown labs and our appeal to join the transition to a resilient, carbon-free future. If you represent a community, municipality, agency, utility, government, or corporation seeking the latter path, Beacon Climate urges you to introduce your organization to our movement by filling out this form. The REIC will be back in touch shortly thereafter.
