A New England native, Jon began his career as a Submarine Officer in the United States Navy, supporting multiple deployments in engineering and operations roles aboard USS DALLAS. He subsequently joined the Ipswich Electric Light Department as Operations Manager before advancing to General Manager where he served from 2017 through 2023.
More recently, Jon has worked as a Senior Managing Consultant for Energy and Environmental Economics (E3), where he advised government, corporate, and utility clients across North America on critical issues like decarbonization, resource planning, and rate design. Since 2025, he has served as the General Manager of the Marblehead Municipal Light Department, where he continues supporting the utility’s proud legacy of providing safe, reliable, and affordable power to the community with lower carbon intensity and superior customer service.
Jon holds a Master of Business Administration from Boston University and Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering from Purdue University. He currently lives in Gloucester and enjoys experiencing New England's natural beauty and activities with his family.
